The Rho Lambda chapter was founded in 1973 at Lewis University and was recognized by the Central Office on 23 March 2018 for 45 years of excellence. The Society is open to all undergraduate, graduate, and professional English Studies Majors in any concentration. Rho Lambda is home to more than 100 Lewis students and faculty since its establishment. If you are an English major or minor of at least sophomore status, you are welcome to apply to join the Rho Lambda Chapter by clicking here for an application form, which you can complete and submit via email.
Lewis Voices is the annual publication by Rho Lambda. The publication first started in 2009 and was called Write On! The magazine was renamed Voices in 2010. The final transition occurred in 2018 when the magazine was renamed Lewis Voices and became a journal with juried submissions. The original issue offered a collection of works from English majors and members of Rho Lambda Chapter. However, starting with the first issue of Lewis Voices, the magazine will be a platform for all Lewis University undergraduate and graduate students. The magazine will host creative, rhetorical and professional writings along with fine arts, such as photography and paintings.
